About the business
Temora Medical Complex is a well established, friendly practice. It comprises GP’s which include 2 registrars.
It is a purpose built facility of modern architecture and includes 12 consultation rooms, specialists’ rooms, minor procedure areas, on-site pathology, and a radiology service at the rear of the building.
The doctors of Temora Medical Complex provide supervision of new and training doctors to ensure safe medical care and supportive practice for the medical team.
About the role
Able to provide routine family practice care to patients, including, where appropriate, minor procedures, obstetrics and anaesthetics care.
Provide emergency services to hospital patients as necessary according to the hospital roster - triage categories 1-5
Participate in weekly clinical meetings and clinical reviews at Temora Medical Complex
Participate in hospital management meetings and quality improvement activities relating to patient care as necessary
Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner
Develop and maintain policies for admission, discharge and care of patients, in consultation with other care providers
Conduct ward rounds and ED clinics ( as per the on call roster) as required
Develop and maintain relationships with our medical referral institutions and facilities

Skills and experience
Require registration with AHPRA as medical practitioner
FRACGP/ACRRM or equivalent, or working towards this qualification in Australia
General practice experience is essential with skills commensurate with this role - please note that supervision is provided when required
